I Choose Freedom

We must develop and maintain the capacity to forgive. He who is devoid of the power to forgive is devoid of the power to love. There is some good in the worst of us and some evil in the best of us. When we discover this, we are less prone to hate our enemies.
- Martin Luther King Jr.

would you like to be more powerful?
would you like to be free?
forgive
forgive yourself
for making that "mistake"
for making that choice
you wish you didn't make
forgive your parents
they did the best they could
they aren't perfect
and neither are you
forgive that friend
who betrayed you
who talked about you behind your back
who left you in your time of need
forgive that stranger
who acted so unkindly
and caused you all that pain
forgive God
because while it seems like He should have stopped that person
from hurting you and wrecking your plans for your life
He does love you more than you realize
and He has got an amazing plan on how
this will all turn out for your good
forgive
and
this Christmas
give yourself
the gift of
FREEDOM
because
you
deserve it.
