Today, I want to take a moment to thank all the people around the world who read my blog which I started almost one year ago.
I want you to know something else. Every day I pray that the words I write may be a blessing to you the reader. I pray that you may feel comfort, encouragement and hope that the future will be better. I ask that you forgive yourself for whatever you feel shame and regret about, and that you forgive others so that you can experience the freedom that comes with forgiveness. I ask that God heal you and give you the courage and strength to face whatever it is you are going through or whatever you will encounter.
At this time of year it may be especially hard for some of you. For those that celebrate Christmas, it is often a time of getting together with your loved ones. There may be some loved ones who may not be sitting around your dinner table this year. You may be separated by distance, divorce or death. For you I say a special prayer of comfort. I ask that you may be granted the Peace that passes all understanding and the grace to live one moment at a time.
I pray that you become increasingly aware of the Love that constantly surrounds you. And I pray that every one of you realizes that it is no accident you are reading these words. You were lead here on purpose. More importantly, I pray that you realize your life is on purpose.
You may not believe in the power of prayer, the power of God, the power that is greater than you and I, and that’s OK. I’m not asking you to. I am just saying I do know with certainty that prayer does work. I know I would not be who I am or where I am today without this power working in my life.
Finally, I urge you to keep the faith. Keep believing. Keep dreaming. And most of all, keep loving.
