Tuesday Tunes

Rhonda's Pick

From the time I was a small child, I have always loved music. I used to dream of being a DJ. My sister and I used to play records (usually ABBA, Beach Boys or Olivia Newton John) and using our fancy new tape recorder, we would play our records and tape ourselves talking before and after songs. What fun we had pretending we had a radio show!

So, in keeping in the DJ spirit of my childhood, I am sending out this song, "Thank You for Being a Friend" as a musical dedication to my friends.

Without you believing in me and encouraging me, I don't know where I would be today. Certainly a lot of the good things in life I've experienced lately would not have happened if it wasn't for you. Words can't express how much you mean to me. That's why I will let this song speak for itself.

Oh yes, I should mention that I am also grateful for my old DJ friend, my sister who is more than a sister to me...she is one of my best friends :-)

Let this song remind you to tell your friends today how much they mean to you. Remember, it is no accident they are in your life.

"Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born."
- Anais Nin
